Even though Gryffindor's Sword never was made into a Horcrux, it still plays an essential part in the saga of Harry Potter. So for my daughter's Harry Potter Christmas Tree Advent Calendar, of course I had to make Gryffindor's Sword Ornaments.
I ordered Gryffindor's Sword necklaces from eBay to use the actual sword pendant as an ornament. I was a little disappointed in how small the sword pendants were, but by adding some more heavily beaded swirly ornament hooks, it was still a quick and easy way to make decent looking Gryffindor's Sword Ornaments.
